Every year a variety of magazines do a “best places to live” article and this year Bankrate did another look and named Atlanta number 3 overall as a best places to live. \u00a0Basing its study on several factors \u0096 including affordability, maintenance costs, property taxes, appreciation, foreclosure rates\u00a0and\u00a0energy costs \u0096 Bankrate<\/a> graded the nation\u0092s largest metro areas on a scale of zero to 10, assigning a final score after all the grades were added up.<\/p>\n By that standard, Atlanta received a score of 57.55, with only Phoenix and Portland rating higher.
