There’s plenty of Country Clubs to choose from in the metro Atlanta area and there’s a lot of competition for your hard earned dollars – some clubs offer more amenities than others but our focus is on the top 10 Country Club in Atlanta where you can actually live and own real estate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This list is based on recent sales in the country club, along with Amenities and appreciation. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Atlanta Country Club – Atlanta<\/a>\u00a0| Located in Marietta but still considered Atlanta, Atlanta Country Club offers swimming and tennis and a fitness center to go along with it’s world class Golf Course. \u00a0Atlanta Country Club is often used as an ACC Tournament location. \u00a0They also have a great website but it doesn’t feature pricing. \u00a0Home prices are from $500K to $4Million<\/li>\n
  2. Chateau Elan – Braselton<\/a>\u00a0– One of the most famous Country Clubs in the metro Area. \u00a0Just on the outskirts of truly metro Atlanta, Chateau Elan features a full winery, equestrian center, multiple tennis and swim locations, club house privileges AND 3 golf courses including a par 3. \u00a0Homes Range from $700k to $2 Million +.<\/li>\n
  3. Country Club of the South\u00a0<\/span>– Alpharetta<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– CC of the South is easily one of the most well known of all country clubs in the metro Atlanta area. \u00a0It’s a fan favorite in Alpharetta. \u00a0With Swim, Tennis and Fitness along with the amazing Golf experience. \u00a0Home prices are from $800’s to $2 Million.<\/li>\n
  4. Indian Hills – Marietta<\/a>\u00a0– Indian Hill Country Club has some of the most affordable residences with home \u00a0prices under $500K but climbing up to $2 Million. \u00a0It’s also one of the more diverse from an architectual standpoint. With 27 holes of Golf and access to swim and tennis, this is a great Cobb County option. \u00a0There’s even some new construction.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  5. The Manor\u00a0– Milton<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– Several years ago some Alpharettians got together and decided to create the pinnacle of the club house experience while keeping prices under $2 Million. \u00a0The Manor is that. \u00a0You’ll have a hard time finding a nicer fitness center with tennis (indoor and multiple surfaces), swimming (indoor and outdoor) and of course some of the most well manicured greens you’ll see this side of Augusta. \u00a0 Homes start at roughly $1 Million and top $3 Million. \u00a0It’s worth noting that the lot size is a bit smaller than some of the older country clubs.<\/li>\n
  6. River Club – S<\/a>uwanee – Following the Manor’s lead, The River Club has become the end-all-be-all Country Club living in Suwanee. \u00a0 There’s no higher priced, more elite real estate outside of Buckhead. \u00a0Some Country Clubs like Chateau Elan for example feature “estates” while the River Club feels like a neighborhood. \u00a0Homes here are priced from $1 Million up to $5 Million.<\/li>\n
  7. St Marlo – Duluth<\/a>\u00a0– A fan favorite of home buyers that are relocating, like the others, St Marlo features great swimming, tennis and of course Golf. \u00a0St Marlo’s golf course has some of the most fun holes in the area. \u00a0Homes in St Marlo are priced from the $600’s to the low $1 Million’s.<\/li>\n
  8. St Ives – Suwanee<\/a>\u00a0| Johns Creek – If Classic is what you’re looking for, then St Ives is that. \u00a0Featuring older homes than many of the ones on this list St Ives is classic country club neighborhood with an outstandingly convenient location. \u00a0You’ll find homes priced from the $500’s that need some updating to your ready to move in mansions at $1.5 million.<\/li>\n
  9. White Columns – Milton<\/a>\u00a0– In real estate if there’s not much turnover in a subdivision it can be maddening because it means that it’s a great neighborhood but hard to determine market value. \u00a0White Columns is that neighborhood. \u00a0There’s never more than a handful a homes for sale and relative to the Country clubs mentioned here it’s far more affordable than \u00a0the rest.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  10. Governors Towne Club – Acworth<\/a>\u00a0– If you’re looking for a country club on the west side just on the outside of metro Atlatna, Governor’s Town Club is for you. \u00a0With newer homes and plenty to choose from you’ll find all the trapping the country club lifestyle that you want. Homes here go from $500’s to $1.5 Million.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Honarable Mention<\/p>\n

    Sugarloaf Country Club<\/a> – Made popular by the PGA TPC that makes it way here every few years as well as by some popular reality tv shows. \u00a0Sugarloaf CC features the former home of the Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick. \u00a0During that time the neighborhood had a lot of publicity and became a bit more infamous. \u00a0Sugarloaf brings it with drama and prestige all in one. \u00a0You’ll get all the normal things you want in a Country Club along with an ongoing soap opera story line. \u00a0Homes are priced from the very high $700’s to the $2 Million Plus.<\/p>\n
