One of these venues is the Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre. It nominated as the Best Major Outdoor Concert Venue and Best New Major Concert Venue by Pollstar awards, making it one of the greatest concert grounds. This year, music giants such as Alabama, James Taylor, and Keith Urban will be performing here.

Of course, fundraising events would also be held in the amphitheatre this year, such as the Shamrockin’ for a Cure, a party held to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Those who get hungry at the middle of the events can get their food at the concession stands where they serve American favorites such as Pizza, Burgers, Salads, and a lot more.

Another establishment that residents go to is the North Point Mall, an over 1.3million square feet picture perfect shopping mecca. Inside, there are a lot of retail spots and boutiques where patrons can get their needs. Of course, there are other things that can be done inside the mall, as well, as there are a lot of restaurants, roller skating rink, and two movie theaters found inside the mall.  All of this is located right near Windward.

In Alpharetta, you can find a library ran by the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System (the biggest library system in Georgia), the Alpharetta Branch Library. Perfect for those who love to read, students who need to do homework, researchers who need references, and so much more. A great feature that this library system has is that they have a website where one can search the book beforehand to check if it is available in the branch nearest them.

One of the most popular Alpharetta points of interest is where the locals go for recreation, Wills Park. This park have several baseball fields (grass and synthetic), tee ball fields, picnic areas, 3 playgrounds, tennis courts, a walking trail, the Alpharetta Community Garden, and a lot more! There are so much to do in this park that this has been a place for families to spend their rest days together.

Nature lovers will surely enjoy a trek in the Big Creek Greenway Trail. It’s an 8-mile trail that starts from Windward Parkway to Mansell Road where people can walk around and check out the greenery and inhale some fresh air. Its great for nature walks, to learn about different kinds of plants, or to simply clear one’s head.

Lastly, those want to have a romantic wedding can check out Historic Mansell House from Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM-4:00pm located at the Old Milton Parkway. It’s a house with gardens perfect for private formal events.
